

Karan Barnabas
is a guitarist, producer, and actor from Pune, India and is an alumnus of A.R. Rahman's KM Music Conservatory in Chennai.
Over the years, Karan has established himself in the Indian music scene for his distinct style on the guitar. His instrumental release, Blueshift Horizon (2024), showcases a unique blend of technical precision and melodic storytelling, while his debut single, Stay (2023), demonstrates his versatility in a pop context.

Beyond his solo projects, Karan is also a seasoned live performer and sought-after collaborator. He honed his craft and toured extensively as a member of Fiddlecraft, one of Pune's most prominent indie bands, playing numerous shows at festivals and events across the country. More recently, he joined Prithviraj Jadhav & the DANGERMEN as both guitarist and producer, contributing to their single, By Your Side (2025), before embarking on a major tour with the band across South India.

Career Highlights
Expanding his artistic horizons further, Karan made a significant acting debut in the Yash Raj Films (YRF) blockbuster, "Saiyaara (2025)", directed by the acclaimed Mohit Suri.
Karan completed his Diploma of Higher Education: Music with Distinction from the prestigious KM Music Conservatory in Chennai in 2023, majoring in Western Classical Guitar and Music Production.
A live session of Karan’s first instrumental single, "Meraki", gained significant traction, propelling him into the spotlight. This recognition led to Karan's performance at the Oddball Festival in Bangalore in 2023, opening for the likes of ‘The Aristocrats’ and ‘Blackstratblues’ among many others.
Seamlessly moving between the studio, the stage, and the silver screen, Karan is establishing himself as one of the most exciting and versatile new talents in India's creative landscape.
